Mai Huong Ho-Tran is a parent of two Rocketeers from Rocketship Spark Academy. She is very active in her school community, including contributing her language skills to translations, as she is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. She has been a clinician in private practice and Kaiser Permanente for over 17 years. She has taught and specialized in Chronic Pain for the last 12 years. She is currently the Regional Clinical Lead Physical Therapist for Pain Management for Kaiser Permanente – Northern California. She completed her Fellowship in Pain Sciences through ISPI/EIM in October of 2019. She has guest lectured at the UCSF Graduate Program in PT, Kaiser Permanente locally and regionally, and multiple community venues for the City of San Jose. Her experience also delves deeply in mindfulness, yoga therapy, Tai Chi, Feldenkrais, Pilates, and somatic movement retraining. The greatest thing she’s ever done was deciding to become a mom to her two beautiful girls. She’s an avid yogi, a runner and enjoys great laughs and deep meaningful conversations.
