Kristen began her career in education as a fourth-grade teacher in the Oakland Unified School District. She first learned of Rocketship during a school visit at RMS with Principal Preston Smith, and Kristen has been inspired by Rocketship’s mission ever since. Kristen is passionate about education equity and is deeply committed to our community and students. Kristen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Policy, Organization, & Leadership Studies from Stanford.
